• You retain ownership of content you submit (pet listings, photos, messages, etc.), but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, display, and transmit it for operating the Service.
• You must have rights to the content you upload and ensure it is lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

1. Prohibited conduct
   You agree not to:

• Violate laws or regulations.
• Upload infringing, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its security.
• Scrape, harvest data, or use automated means without permission.

1. Pet adoption interactions

• Listings are provided by shelters/owners; we do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or suitability of any pet.
• Adoption decisions and agreements are between you and the shelter/owner.
• We are not a party to adoption contracts and are not liable for outcomes of meetings, adoptions, or disputes.

1. Third-party services

• The Service may link to or integrate third-party services (e.g., Google sign-in, maps, payments if applicable). Those are governed by their own terms/policies.
• We are not responsible for third-party services.

1. Intellectual property

• The Service (excluding user content) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with written permission.
